Franziskus does not only shin ein sports

Result Westphalian Online-Auktion for dressage foals

Münster: Once again 34 dressage foals were sold online at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V.. The Franziskus son, Fine Tuning, trotted to the top price of 15,000 Euros. A total of 27 foals changed hands for an average of 6,694 Euros. Eight of these were purchased by foreign customers.

Last week Franziskus achieved a new best result in the Grand Prix in Münster under the saddle of Ingrid Klimke. His offspring are already in the starting blocks. On Monday evening the Franziskus/Lauries Crusador xx-son Fine Tuning (breeder: Hubert Schulze-Kappelhoff, Ahaus; exhibitor: Johann Schulze-Kappelhoff, Ahaus) was the top seller. A stallion breeder secured the dark bay for the knock down price of 15,000 Euros. The colt, who descents from a dam line that was successful in sport, will enjoy the "fine tuning" in further training in the region of Münster. The ratio of colts and fillies in this collection was relatively balanced. The most popular filly trotted through the virtual auction round with head number 10. The Bohemian/Dresemann daughter Bright Smile was worth 10,000 Euros to a well-known customer from Bavaria. This filly also descents from a proven dam line. Her granddam's full brother is the former Bundeschampion and Grand Prix winner Fürst Khevenhüller, who was successful under the saddle of Helen Langehaneberg.

In total, almost 80 per cent of the 34 foals offered found a new owner this evening. Eight of these foals will travel abroad after weaning. An average of 6,694 Euros was invested in the foals. "Today's result can be placed in the stable, solid midfield. Considering that we have already successfully sold over 160 foals this year via the Westphalian Online Auctions, we can be very satisfied with the result. I am particularly pleased with the ever-increasing number of new customers from abroad," auction and marketing manager Thomas Münch summarised the results of this auction.

Once again, the motto for the coming week is "Every week on Monday...". On July 27 at 7.30 pm the Westphalian bid up will start once again before a short summer break starts. 28 foals predispositioned for jumping will be for sale. The popular blood of Cornet Obolensky is represented in the collection by the stallion himself and several of his sons. International star sires like Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, Tobago Z and Eldorado van de Zeshoek send their offspring to this online auction. The Taloubet Z/Chacco Blue daughter Top Girl opens the auction with the head number 1. The highly interesting lot will be available at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de from Tuesday, July 21. The bidding starts on Thursday, July 23, at 9 am. This auction will be followed by an online auction for pony and special breed foals on August 17. Riding horse foals will be auctioned in Westphalia again on September 7 and 14.
